Dr. Beatrice Golomb’s group at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), is conducting a genetic study that focuses on electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS).
The trial will investigate the genetic factors associated with electromagnetic hypersensitivity and its symptoms.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Individuals who experience electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS).
• All individuals who feel they suffer from this condition are welcome, you do not need a confirmed diagnosis.
• Interested individuals will complete a screening survey for eligibility.
Study Participation Includes:
• EHS symptoms survey.
• Cheek swab sample for DNA collection.
• Testing is free.
• You will get access to your whole genome data.
Study’s Purpose:
The researchers seek to learn why some individuals experience electromagnetic hypersensitivity. Understanding genetic risk factors will help them understand the mechanisms of EHS, which can help identify candidate treatments.
Participants are being recruited internationally, so Australians can also participate.
