   Dear Kathy,
   If you already have a Smart Meter installed I think the only way to get your Passive and non damaging to your health Analog Meter back at this juncture, is to firstly contact a good Lawyer and get his or her advice. I still have my Analog Meter padlocked in my Electricity Meter Box. You should get the first half hour or 30 minutes free as I did with my Lawyer. First check this out with him or her on the telephone. Please make your lawyer aware how the Smart Meter was either forced on you when you were out shopping or away from home for any reason, or did the Smart Meter Man or the C.E.O of the Electric Power Company send you a letter stating that it was Mandatory for you to get the Smart Meter. ( A mandate in this case is not LEGAL ) If the letter said it was mandatory then this is a LIE. We the people of Victoria have never entered into any contract to accept a dopey and now proving to be Smart Meter which is an Illegal Snooping Device. It is also truly very dangerous to ones health and dangerous to your private electrical goods. Smart Meters have caused fires in many cases here in Victoria and Overseas and damaged private electrical goods and as you know made many people sick with such illnesses as Tinnitus or ringing in the ears and or Migraine where people never suffered Migraine before and or Insomnia and or Palpitations in the chest and or feelings of extreme nervousness and many other medical complaints.

   By having a Smart Meter on one’s property one will be charged more for ones electricity with the Time Of Use Systems these so-called Electric Smart Meters have effectively built into them. The first 8 hours of electricity usage from 11.00 P.M to 7.00 A.M is at say X units of cost per kilowatt hour. From 7.00 A.M to 2.00 P.M the rate is double or 2X units per kilowatt hour. From 2.00 P.M the rate jumps to 4X units per kilowatt hour.
   You see for those of us who still have our Analog Meters it is a win win situation.

   Lastly if you look at The Victorian Government Gazette for Electricity for 2007, S200 page 16
   The Victorian Electrical Act 2000 Section 46 D and the Vitorian Gazette No. S200 dated 28th August 2007

   which states the following …………..
   Page 16. Clause 14 Remotely read interval meter rollout.
   14.1 Rollout period
   (a) Subject to clause 14.3, each distributor must use its best endeavours to install a

   remotely read interval meter (which is operational as a remotely read interval meter

   in accordance with the functionality, distributor performance levels and distributor

   service levels set out in a further Order in Council to be made under section 46D

   of the Act) for all of the metering installations for customers with annual electricity

   consumption of 160MWh or less for which it is the responsible person on the End

   Date by that date.

   You will see that it is NOT US THE Customers of these Sneaky Overseas Owned Victorian Electric Power Companies who are CONTRACTED to take a Smart Meter. It is the Smart Meter Installers who are Contracted to. ” Use their Best Endeavours” to get the people or the Customers of the Electric Power Companies to accept a Smart Meter, even when it is against the Will and Better Judgement of the people. This is bullying of the highest degree and none of you should be forced or coerced into taking a so-called Smart Meter against your Will and Better Judgement. Just Stand Up Politely to these BULLIES AS I AND MANY OF US HAVE ALREADY DONE. Simply securely Padlock your Electric Meter Boxes and put up your legal anti-trespass signs by the Australian Constitution (1900-1901 and still effective ) on your front gate or fence and on your Electric Meter Boxes. Take a photograph of both these signs for LEGAL purposes, as you have all been asked to do many times, in these and similar warnings by various people. Next write a registered letter to the C.E.O of the Electric Power Company for your area stating that you refuse to accept a… ” Now proven to be Deadly Dangerous to your health and Electrical goods Smart Meter at any time. Post this letter pronto and keep a copy of same for Legal Purposes.
   Lastly add this Legal Statement to the end of your letter……

   ” IF IN THE FUTURE I FIND THAT A SMART METER HAS BEEN INSTALLED ON MY PROPERTY AGAINST MY WILL AND BETTER JUDGEMENT I WILL JOIN THE COMMON CLASS ACTION TO SUE.”
   Sign and date your letter and the copy and post off the original registered letter putting on the registered postal numbers, also ask for a receipt so that you know your letters has been both received and signed for.

   I too, think my headaches have been caused by the installation of a smart metre.How can we get them removed?
