The adress of the Prime minister should be included as she had reiterates that smart meters are not compulsory. Quote “Well the devices won’t be compulsory; we’re not going to put that on anyone. People will have choices.” end quote

  5. Irene Yerman says:

Very important to document any interference you are experiencing, then contact the Australian Communications and Media Authority. ACMA has radio inspectors whose job it is to investigate any and ALL sources of interference to other radio signal devices (e.g.TV reception). A friend had a smart meter installed and in order for it to talk to the one next door a signal booster had to be installed. His son operates radio controlled cars and the smart meter signal interferes as it is not efficient in broadcasting and tends to scatter the signal. over a wider area than the allocated band.
Also if your worried about electricity smart meters wait until they start installing the water smart meters which is already in the pipeline. Gas smart meters to follow as well. Imagine all the RF that will induce. If you add wireless technology and mobile phones into the equation, I can see a lot of health problems ahead.

That is why we must FIGHT and NEVER GIVE IN until these ‘lunatics’ wake up to themselves! Victorian Charter of Human Rights, section 10 & 13 states Protection from Inhumane Treatment and Right to Privacy which we intend to Uphold! With so much opposition in Victoria, i believe their job will become nigh on impossible to implement their NWO onto the rest of Australia, and they will have to abolish the ‘so-called smart grid’.

  6. I had similar Heather, SPAusnet denied that there was any signal from any meter in Victoria and that it was impossible for them to interfere with TV signal (even if they were on, but they are not) The blinding headaches, ringing ears and vertigo are a little bit of an issue here also. *on the 3rd phone call they admitted that they might be on “here and there” for testing. they also tried to say that none had ever been operation, although their test reports clearly show otherwise. *It’s always hard to discusss issues with liars.

  7. Heather says:

Have had the Smart Meter for some weeks now. Since the meter was installed the television reception and sound seems to have interference. The picture breaks up and the sound cuts out. It happens often and in short intervals and is very annoying.

    • jodi says:

      Television reception interferance.
I was wondering about that, whether the Smart Meters interfere with digital tv reception. Between approx 6pm and 10pm channel 10 (and all the ten network digital channels) lose reception. Sometimes lose 100% sometimes 90%. Ocaissionally SBS too. This is only recently and I think around the time my neighbours got a Smart Meter (only 2 meters away)

      • Glennis says:

I have problems with health issues after having a smart meter advanced meter forced on me and being bullied by and Ausnet technician who told me Daniel Andrews said I have to have it . I also demanded the old one be left with me and he said ok I will cut the aerial off it and he did this. I until reading the above comments did not even think about the TV interferrance being attributed to the meter also and this has been happening to my television cutting out or not allowing channels to work and sound interferrance and I could not think why and it is only since this upgraded meter was forced onto me. I am grateful to have read other peoples problems and now understand why my house and tv have other issues occurring now and only since this installation took place.
