Professor Yury Grigoriev calls for order and the world needs to listen!

“Man conquered the Black Plague, but he has created new problems – EMF pollution”

The Russian National Committee on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection has agreed to provide a detailed report for the world containing clear information on the most important Russian research results in RF/EMF radiation over the past 50 years.

RF/EMF researchers and environmental activists, Eileen O’Connor, Director for the UK Radiation Research Trust charity and Sissel Halmøy, Chairman for the International EMF Alliance and Secretary General for the Citizens ́ Radiation Protection in Norway recently returned from a trip to meet with top scientists at the Russian Federation.

Halmøy said: “According to the RNCNIRP, the following health hazards are likely to be faced by children who use mobile phones in the near future: disruption of memory, decline of attention, diminishing learning and cognitive abilities, increased irritability, sleep problems, increase in sensitivity to the stress, increased epileptic readiness. Action must be taken immediately to adopt biologically based guidelines to protect children.” Current standards are based more on engineering needs than biological studies.

O’Connor said “The Russian report is a gift to the world. The UK Radiation Research Trust will present the report in the Autumn to the Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP and will be forwarded to the UK Chief Medical Officer, Professor Dame Sally Davies.”

She added “Russian scientists are advanced in their knowledge on RF/EMF radiation and have extended the hand of friendship and are willing to share their expertise and knowledge. I hope decision makers from the western world accept this great honour and work together.”

Russian research offers crucial and important aspects of developmental relevance that conveys a sense of urgency for the global RF/EMF framework. Without it, national governments may not be able to ensure the health of future generations are protected, especially that of our children.

Russian warnings exists urging pregnant women to avoid using mobile phones entirely along with children under eighteen. Likewise, Germany, India, the United Kingdom, Israel, Finland, Belgium and Toronto, Canada, have issued health warnings for children to not use mobile phones, or for emergency use only. Unfortunately, most children, parents, doctors and teachers are not aware of this important information.

Furthermore, in May 2011 the World Health Organisation and IARC issued a classification stating that radio frequency – electromagnetic fields are possibly carcinogenic to humans (group B). This warning is issued not only for mobile phones and phone masts, but for Wi-Fi, smart meters, wireless computers and all applications of technology on the RF/EMF Spectrum (radio-frequency radiation to electromagnetic radiation.)

The smart meter project started with the The Ministerial Council on Energy (MCE) endorsing the National Stakeholder Steering Committee ( NSSC) as the leader for the National smart meter program (NSP). The NSSC then co-ordinated it’s electricity supplier members to roll out the meter installation. Because there was no reported contractual relationship between any of these bodies there could be no enforceable reporting up the chain of command to NSSC and consequently no oversight of safety issues arising during design and production phases at contractors’ and sub-contractors premises, Lack of Government oversight resulted in the consultation process degrading to ill-informed questions from the public eliciting responses limited to mere platitudes The Government was entitled to delegate its authority but ended up delegating also its responsibility for public safety.
A salient example is the EMR report commissioned by the Government from EMC Technologies, an independent and accredited safety testing organisation, The absence of any contract between Government and NSSC prevented EMC Tech from ascertaining whether the submitted test meter was a representative sample of current production. or a meter especially prepared for demonstrating safety, Their report, while interesting, is not particularly relevant, or for matter revelent. But governmenbt letting of the EMC Tech contract effectively relieves NSSC from the responsibility for EMR safety.,
Some might see the dead hand of Sir Humphrey Appleby here, I see only “Yes Minister!” without the laughs.

Good reading, and makes a lot of sense, this is the problem, we have little narrow minded people here in Australia such as Power Companies and the Government where money and power have gone to their head. So they sit like little dictators telling us what we must do, wearing their blinkers with such arrogance and not concerned about the consequences of the future outcome of these smart meters, especially with children, I await the day when they will be brought to justice for their actions causing fear and stress on the people by actually forcing the dangers caused by these smart meters upon the people and I hope their time of judgement will come sooner rather than later. Let the world know that the Government of Victoria and the Electrical Power Companies are mandatory forcing the Australian people to accept the continuity of these radio active frequences being emitted from the smart meters— and all for what ” MONETARY GAIN” Justice

    • Informed choice says:

Well said, Justice. I really do hope that we can bring about change on this issue as it is such an urgent situation regarding unwanted side-effects to many, much like smoking which doctors advise NOT TO DO. So how come our medical boards haven’t done the proper research like in Russia with the EMF/RF warnings?

      • Steve says:

Informed Choice, ARPANSA’s safety limits have not been updated since April 2002 and are in fact based on even older guidelines published in 1998 called the 1998 Guidelines of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), hence not only are our standards out dated but they do not take into consideration any of the latest scientific findings and developments which are used as the basis for determining public health policy. In other words, without updating the RF standards, the health policy regarding RF devices such as smart meters, mobile phones etc. is not evidenced based.

Don Maisch Phd. has written an article sometime back that clearly details why Russian and Western Sciences have diverged on the process of establishing RF standards.

“In the USSR however, a vastly different political and economic system resulted paradoxically in giving their scientists far more democratic and academic freedom (and funding) than their Western counterparts in choosing the focus of their research efforts. Private corporations did not exist and the Soviet military was EXEMPT from having to comply with exposure standards. They could happily design and deploy their equipment without fear of conflict with regulations, or research findings. The result was the lowest EMF Standard worldwide, designed to provide protection against prolonged – low level (non-thermal) exposures.”

Doesn’t this bloody Government ever check this Website????? I’ts about time they did !!!! – for all our sakes and STOP THE ROLL-OUT altogether of these SMART METERS……….Pam
